Duke of Edinburgh
Do your Duke of Edinburgh’s Volunteering with the Electric Eels
Did you know you can do your DofE Volunteering section with the Electric Eels?
We can support you with your Bronze – Silver – Gold programmes and help you complete community based meaningful volunteering. These are exactly the types of valued programmes the DofE are trying to promote.
Our dedicated DofE lead can help your Programme Plans with advice about your goals, and what you want to achieve for each level, making sure you can evidence progression as you move up through your award levels. On completion of your programmes we will upload your personalised Assessors Report via the eDofE portal.
Doing your volunteering with the Eels is more than just the award, it’s an opportunity for you to make friends, network with other volunteers and experience the personal satisfaction of supporting young people with a disability to complete an activity they love. You will also come to see the Eels aren’t just a club, they are a family.
Volunteering with us will also open opportunities to achieve nationally recognised Swim England qualifications which could lead to fantastic new career paths.
As we are regulated by Swim England all our volunteering team are DBS checked and we comply with relevant insurances and policies such as safeguarding. Please see the botom section of the page.
If you wish to know more or register an interest to volunteer (do mention if you are volunteering to complete your DofE) , please see: here
